Based at the National Space Science and Technology Center in Huntsville, Ala., Dr. Bob Oglesby is a senior atmospheric scientist from NASA's Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville. Working to take the guesswork out of long-term weather prediction, he has co-authored research papers on topics that include diagnosing warm season precipitation, thresholds in atmosphere-soil moisture interactions and the predictability of winter snow cover over the Western United States.
